Over too quickly!

I love Alice Hoffman books, so I purchased this for a flight, not realizing it was a short story. It was excellent, and I tore through it in a matter of minutes. So, other than the disappointment from it being so short, I loved it. I enjoy how her books all have an element of the inexplicable. She can turn ordinary things into something mysterious and ominous.

I loved this short story by Alice Hoffman... It didn't leave me wanting more since I knew it was going to be a quick read. The ending felt hauntingly familiar...

This story was written for a tribute to Ray Bradbury collection so if you love his work

While it's only a few pages long, as always, Ms Hoffman manages to come up with another winner. This story was written for a tribute to Ray Bradbury collection so if you love his work, you'll enjoy this story. Extra points if, like me, you love both these authors!
